Barwon Water is Victoria’s largest regional urban water corporation, with more than 110 years’ experience in delivering world-class water, sewerage and recycled water services to our customers and community. More than just taps and toilets, we’re a pivotal player in the region’s ongoing social, economic and environmental prosperity.

We care about where we live and work, and we’re always looking for like-minded people to join our team.

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which we live and work, and we’re committed to building strong, meaningful partnerships with local indigenous communities.  We celebrate diversity, and encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply for our career opportunities.

We are looking for people who are passionate about delivering results, thrive in structured work processes and enjoy clear, efficient responsibilities in their role.

Your technical skills will be put to the test, as a large component of this role involves hands on support to the project and construction teams, assisting in quality onsite inspections, logging incoming work inspections, data base input and reporting, through to monitoring and closing out actions.

With your systematic and efficient approach, you’ll bring along excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and problems solving skills.  You also have the ability for learning and using new technologies.  Working as part of a team, you are flexible and can also work autonomously, contributing to the overall team goal.

Gforce Apprentices and Trainees is one of the region’s largest employers of Apprentices and Trainees.  As a trainee of Gforce you will be a valued member of our friendly and supportive staff, while receiving award wages and on-the-job training.  Like all our staff, you will be encouraged to develop a long term career and commitment to successfully complete your traineeship within the fixed term of 12 months.

You will also have fantastic opportunities to leverage your transferrable skills, access to excellent on-the-job training and opportunities to pursue your career goals.
