At Barwon Water we believe that every individual has something valuable to offer.  We understand that the more diverse workforce, the wider the variety of ideas we bring to the table.  Enjoy being part of an organisation that values results, professional growth, workplace diversity and a balance between work and life commitments.

We are looking for people who are passionate about delivering results, thrive in structured work processes and enjoy clear, efficient responsibilities in their role.

You’ll be part of a team that provides efficient and effective operation of the water treatment plant or water operations plant, through operational maintenance of equipment such as pumps, pipes and valves, monitoring, sampling and data logging.

We are looking for people who are safety focused, motivated, and able to work according to operating procedures whilst proactively identifying problems and developing innovative solutions.  With your excellent communication skills teamed with strong computer skills, you’ll have the ability for learning and using new technologies.

Gforce Apprentices and Trainees is one of the region’s largest employers of Apprentices and Trainees.  As a trainee of Gforce you will be a valued member of our friendly and supportive staff, while receiving award wages and on-the-job training.  Like all our staff, you will be encouraged to develop a long term career and commitment to successfully complete your traineeship within the fixed term of 12 months.
